My Yeowww! My Cat Balls arrived yesterday and I have NEVER seen my cats go so crazy over any toy! Two of my eight year olds immediately began playing, kicking, jumping and in general just having a high time with the ball. Then my 20 year 10 month and 15 day old girl who is deaf and doesn’t move very well got up from her bed in the dining room, came to the kitchen where the other two were playing and began sniffing the air. I got out another ball for her and soon she was rubbing her face on it, batting it a bit and drooling like crazy over the catnip in it. She hasn’t done anything remotely close to that in years! Your DuckyWorld Yeowww! My Cat Balls are fantastic!

Let’s Get Our Blog On!

We thought we’d try something different and add a little bit more fun to the site by introducing a blog where we can post updates on products, news, and open up a new channel to talk with you. We want to make it the best blog that we can, so we encourage you to share your comments right here and let us know what you’d like to see from us in our blog. Perhaps you’d like us to talk about feline health? Toy/catnip highlight posts? Silly and fun cat pictures? It’s all up in the air and you can have a say right here, right now.

Now, we’d like to get this started with more than just an introduction to this new site feature by giving a bit of an update on things. As some of you know, we have a Facebook page (and if you didn’t know, you do now!) that we update regularly and it’s a fantastic way to interact with other cat lovers. Well, we hit 800 likes this week! And we’re growing every day. If you haven’t checked us out, do so and Like us there so we can all hit 900 as fast as we can!

Other than that, 2012 is winding down and we are gearing up for 2013. It’ll be an awesome, fantastic year and we can’t wait for it to get here! Is there anything you’d like to see from DuckyWorld/Yeowww! Catnip in 2013? New toys? More, different cat products? Let us know, because we are listening!

My kitty finally go her first cigar… she is 7 years old and could not be bothered to play with any nip toys… I have tried many kinds of nip and she has always turned her nose up at it… that was until she got this cigar… wow she is a kitten again!!!

DuckyWorld Visit

I had the pleasure of visiting DuckyWorld Products in Minneapolis on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. I go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN (1.5 hours from Minneapolis) for an annual physical every year and this year at the last minute, I thought about reaching out to them and seeing if I could come by for a visit.

They were generous enough to say yes, so off to Minneapolis I went.

If you read this blog, then you know that the YEOWWW! banana is hands down my absolute favorite catnip toy for cats.

Unfortunately, they didn’t allow me to take photos of their fun reception area where they have tons of cartoon drawings of their YEOWWW!® Catnip cat, Desmond. I absolutely love their cartoon drawings, so it was a treat to see so many of them.

They also gave me a few party favors – a YEOWWW! banana, a YEOWWW! Candy Cane and an Official Yeowww!® 3-Handled Mug. Pretty sweet. I have always loved their mug as I think it reflects their brand well and it’s fun! I’m thankful that I now have one!

I always thought my cat wasn’t interested in catnip ..until he got his YEOWWW catnip cigar for his birthday.

He picked it out of all his gifts to play with:

Dear Yeowww catnip,

I just wanted to express how much my cats love your product. We have an apple and a lemon, and they always cuddle with them throughout the day and at bed time.

We are moving to Hawaii and am hoping that the fruit helps with their transition. I’m going to try to find bananas to put in each of their carriers.
